First draft- detective intro

So far, I have the dialogue for the detective.
The detective (Blake) walks into the shot, and says the following-

"It has been a while since the victim disappeared. I am a detective, and the first piece of evidence i found was the door left open, the backpack on the floor, and the car in the driveway. This means she could not have run away."
