In the music video "Adore You" by Harry Styles, there's a small part where the sound goes fuzzy, like you are hearing it through the device Harry (the actor in the video) is listening to the song through, and then it goes back. I'd like to use this idea when the "detective" comes in, in an old-timey fashion.
